You’ve got questions.
We’ve got answers.
What is grass-fed beef?
Grass-fed beef comes from cattle raised on 100% grass. When cattle eat pure grass they turn it into important nutrients – like B vitamins, Vitamin E, anti-inflammatory Omega-3 fatty acids, and cancer-fighting Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) – that are passed on to you, making it a healthy meat option.
So you’re saying your cattle eat only grass?
Yep! Our cattle are born, raised and grazed on open pastures at our family ranch and are never confined or fed grain, antibiotics or hormones.
Tell me about your cattle.
Our grass-fed beef comes from Brangus cattle, a combination of the Brahma and Angus breeds with a Hereford influence. This cross thrives on native Texas grasses which include gramma, blue stem, buffalo, and curly mesquite which makes for a mighty fine marbled steak.
What else should I know about grass-fed beef?
Grass-fed beef is naturally leaner than cattle that eat grain.
Less than 1% of beef in the United States is 100% grass-finished.
It’s healthier than cattle fed genetically modified corn and soy.
